India, as we know is a land of diversities. It is our nation . We’ve fair amount of beliefs, food, religion ,languages, clothings, lifestyle & so many more but still India is the only country upholds & respects every single religion as well as their beliefs. Ours is the only nation that officially recognizes 22 different languages. India has a great deal of geographical variations as it varies from hot desserts of Rajasthan to cold chills of Jammu & Kashmir .

There are many notable places to visit in India and one of the major attraction is Bodh Gaya that is situated in Bihar with it’s distance being 900 kms from the state capital. Bodh Gaya is a religious site associated with the Mahabodhi Temple complex in Gaya district. It is famous as it is the place where Gautam Buddha attained enlightenment under the Bodhi tree . For ages Bodh Gaya has remained place of pilgrimage & prayer for both Hindus & Buddhists.

Bodh Gaya is the most holy place of Buddhists. King Ashoka was the first to build a temple here in Bodh Gaya .

BSTDC has introduced busses between Patna & Bodh Gaya through Rajgir . A special caravan service called ‘wonder on wheels’ has been introduced between Patna & Bihar by Bihar tourism department. Bodh Gaya is situated 7kms from Gaya airport and approximately 10 kms from Gaya railway station.

For Buddhists Bodh Gaya is the most important of the main four pilgrimage sites related to the life of Gautam Buddha where the other three being Kushinagar,Lumbini, Sarnath. In 2002, Mahabodhi temple located in Bodh Gaya, became a UNESCO world heritage site.

India is the land of tolerance. We could be Rajasthani,Bihari, Marathior anyone but our true identity is being Indian which all of us should proud to be .
